At Almasi Skincare we have a Wart Removal Clinic on Saturdays at 10am and Wednesdays at 2pm. We use various methods to treat the warts from cauterization (burning) to the use of prescription medications. Cauterization or electrocautery has been found by studies to have a 100% cure rate although the warts can recur just like they do with other forms of wart treatment.
In our Wart Treatment Clinic we treat the following types of warts:
*Common warts which usually develop on the hands and feet. These are also known as Verruca vulgaris.
Filiform warts which tend to develop on the face.
Flat warts which usually develop on the face though they can also occur on the hands. These are also known as Verruca plana or planar warts.
*Mosaic warts which develop on the hands and soles of the feet.
*Plantar warts which develop on the soles of the feet.
*Periungal warts which develop around the nails.
*Subungal warts which develop below the nails.
*Anal warts which develop on the anus.
*Genital warts which develop on the genitals. These are also known as condylomata acuminata or venereal warts.
*Anogenital warts which develop on the anus and genitals.
All these are HPV wart types because all warts are caused by HPV or Human Papilloma Virus. However there are more than 100 types of HPV which are responsible for the different types of warts.

How To Identify A Wart
Symptoms of warts include a bump on the skin which usually has a rough surface though it can also be smooth. This bump may occur alone or may be with other bumps in a cluster. It is usually the color of the skin. Some warts may itch and some maybe painful especially if they develop on the soles of the feet.
