Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra on Black skin can appear as small, dark swellings of different sizes.
Studies have shown that dermatosis papulosa nigra (DPN) is one of the common dermatological conditions in persons with skin of color. The cause of dermatosis papulosa nigra is not known. However, they are thought to develop due to a combination of genetics, age, exposure to the sun and changes in hormone levels.

Flea Bites On Black Skin
Flea Bites on Black skin can present as small bumps which can be the same color as the surrounding skin or they can be dark brown. These bumps are usually itchy or painful and they may be in a linear pattern or cluster in groups usually around the ankles and legs.
To treat flea bites on humans, wash the affected area with soap and water to prevent infections. Apply an ice pack to reduce the swelling and then consider applying a mild steroid cream like hydrocortisone cream and taking an oral antihistamine like diphenhydramine (Benadryl) to reduce the itch.

The difference between a keloid and a hypertrophic scar on black skin is that the hypertrophic scar is a thick, raised scar which remains within the original wound while a keloid extends outside its margins.
Studies have shown that keloids are one of the common dermatological conditions in persons with skin of color. The exact cause of keloids is not known. However they develop when too much collagen is produced after the skin is injured.
White people can get keloids but they are more likely to develop in persons of African descent. This is because their skin has more melanin and keloids are more likely to develop in areas that have more melanocytes which are the cells that make the melanin.
It is important to note that keloids do not change and become cancer. They are treated because of their cosmetic appearance. Pityriasis Rosea On Black Skin
Pityriasis Rosea on Black skin appear as itchy, dry and scaly patches which may be dark brown in color. They usually develop on the chest, abdomen and back. These lesions are preceded by a herald patch which measures 2-5 cm in diameter, is slightly raised and pinkish-purplish in color.
