Revitalize Wellness Center, Nairobi was ranked as the best luxury spa and wellness center in Africa at the 2019/2020 Luxury Travel Guide Spa Awards which were held in the United Kingdom. It is therefore one of the best spas in Kenya and I recently had the pleasure of spending an afternoon there.
Location
Revitalize Wellness Center has 3 branches in Nairobi – one at Thigiri Ridge opposite New Muthaiga Mall, another at Radisson Blu Hotel in Upperhill and the third branch at Movenpick Hotel in Westlands.
I spent my afternoon at the Muthaiga branch which is an awesome spa set in a town house with a well-manicured garden.
Ambience
At the entrance I was met by a cheery receptionist who welcomed me into the wellness spa. The lobby has muted lighting which invokes a feeling of being cushioned from harsh elements.
Treatment Menu
The wellness spa boosts a wide range of treatments that include reflexology massage, body massages, couples’ massages and facials for acne prone skin and other skin types. These spa treatments utilize internationally recognized products like Elemis and Babor. This wellness spa also offers exquisite manicures and pedicures which are accompanied by relaxing chair massages.
These spa treatments are done by a team of well trained therapists who answered my questions courteously and knowledgeably.
The Revitalize Spa price list lists the Executive Package which helps successful executives achieve total relaxation of mind and body and it costs Ksh 20,000.
In addition to the salon, this wellness center also comes complete with a gym.
Spa Garden
Revitalize Wellness Center, Nairobi is a great destination for unwinding because it also offers a well-manicured garden where one can relax after their indoor treatment session.
One also has the option of eating in the spa garden.
