It comes in a sturdy plastic box which gives a good idea of the lipstick’s color. The lipstick itself is a long tube with the lip color on one end and the top coat on the other.
Claims
Lasts for 16 hours and I cannot dispute that claim since I did not have it on for that long.
“Comfortable color” which I take to mean it does not dry the lips and I agree with that.
“No touch ups needed even after meals” – I did not eat any full meals while I was wearing it but I tend to agree with this claim since it was very hard to remove and it requires an oil- based makeup remover. The package even advises that one should use an oil or cream based makeup remover.
“Delivers the shiniest shine” – I totally agree with that.
Formulation
This lipstick is not very pigmented and you have to apply several coats if you want a bold look. The top coat gives it a wonderful gloss effect and it does not dry the lips. It is hard to remove and you need oil-based makeup remover.
Fragrance
I would describe the scent as indiscernible as you do not really smell it.

My Conclusion
I like Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lipstick because it is a dual lip gloss since you can apply the topcoat without the color. However, I really love its glossy topcoat because it delivers high shine without drying the lips. Its packaging also makes it a decent present for someone who loves makeup.

This lipstick is abundantly pigmented as you only need 1 or 2 applications to cover the lips properly. It is also smooth and easy to apply. It goes on as a rich gloss and dries to a lovely, non-drying matte. To remove it with ease, use an oil-based makeup remover.

It has a nice, barely discernible, fruity scent.

My Conclusion
I love Gabrini Matte Lipgloss because it has a vibrant gloss color when you first apply it on the lips and then it changes to a lovely matte which does not transfer easily. It also delivers great value for money because it contains a whole 6 ml for its pocket-friendly price. I can thus understand why Gabrini lipsticks have become so popular in Kenya.
