This Cerave lotion for dry skin contains water and glycerin as the first two ingredients and they hydrate the skin.

It also helps repair the skin’s natural barrier which reduces water loss from the skin and this keeps the skin hydrated and looking plump. Niacinamide also regulates sebum production which reduce excessive oiliness of the skin.
This Cerave moisturizer also contains vitamin E which is a potent antioxidant that protects the skin cells from free radical damage. It also helps the skin absorb and retain moisture which keeps it well moisturized. Vitamin E also softens the skin.
